Change from steps to reference

Can I change from step to reference directly if I have made a mistake? Or do I have to delete and re-insert? Had been elegant to be able to change quickly

Teresa, Sweco: You need to be able to change a step/split/reference. If you started with a step, describe it and make notes and comments it is quite impractical that you need to delete everything and write it all over again if you find out it is better with a split or a reference instead.
